Mrs. Mia Bowles

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in May 2014. I taught 3rd grade in Lake Charles, LA from 2014 - 2017 and I have been teaching 5th grade in Sulphur, LA since August of 2017. I taught virtually for the 20-21 school year to help reach students that were not able to attend school in person. In addition to my teaching certificate, I also hold a mentor teaching certificate so that I can help to support other teachers in our district. 

In my class, I prepare my students for the technology-rich world we live in by introducing them to numerous technology tools to enhance their learning. I also impress upon them the great importance and responsibility of being good digital citizens.
